Classification as a 'vintage vehicle'

(véhicule historique)

In order to obtain a vehicle classified as a vintage vehicle, it is necessary to make an appointment in one of the authorised establishments to carry out the expertise and to draw up a vintage classification report.

During this appointment with an authorised establishment, it is advisable to produce all the available original documents to facilite the expertise.

Once the vehicle has been validated by the SNCA as 'vintage', technical inspection is required every two years.

Please note that the extension of the time limit for the technical inspection to two years will be obtained when the next inspection is carried out, following the validating as 'vintage'.
